NCT tasks 2019

The new tasks are posted here for advance notice. Open date 1st March. Close date 30th September

Briefly, until then the main changes are:

1. MAIN series now contains 14 tasks (previously 12). Tasks with 2019 in the name is a new task. Still best eight to score towards total.

2. HIKE and FLY series now has 4 tasks (previously 2). Best three of four to count to final total.

3. A CLUB LEAGUE. This will show after 1st March start and on first entries. New award to best placed club.4. Easy task downloads in four formats. Easy task uploads with some flight analysis.

5. Previous years tasks/scores archived and easy to access.

Any other info to follow in greater detail shortly.

Quite agree Tim.

It was requested as a task by some 'keen' and 'fit' pilots. So ... why not, even if it stands for some time ...and of course you don't need to complete to score and on the right day maybe 50 - 70% could be flown. I tried to balance it with a shorter, extra Dales H&F.

Time will tell :lol:

LK8000 task files are now available for the NCT 2019 tasks, including the Hike & Fly tasks, on Ed's website (see first post).

I've based the coordinates on the waypoints in the xcmap GPX files. I've checked them as best I can but can't certify them as 100% accurate so I advise you review them before charging off round the Bob Graham Round, to avoid later disappointment! If you find any errors please let me know.
