Strong wind ground handling tips and tricks

Post by admin » Tue Apr 09, 2019 7:04 pm

Following the panel club night where I banged on about pilots ground handling :P , I thought it might be helpful to put together a video with a few tips.

If it helps let me know in the comments and share it with your friends!

Thanks guys! Happy to help.

I wonder are there any other topics or techniques you want to see covered in a video?

What are the things you dislike about flying? What do you find most challenging?

Most challenging for me currently is getting up and staying up on light wind days...

I think once I'm high enough to use the better formed thermals I'm there, but it's getting to that point.

Thanks Alex. It motivated me to get out this afternoon ground handling. Still can't do a Cobra though

Just a thought Alex: perhaps some of the newer members would find a video site guide useful.
