3 Nov 22 - Club Night - Track Logs
Back at the Horse & Farrier (LS21 1BQ).
This month we have Chris Foster, creator of both xcmaps.net and gpswaypoints.net, providing us with an introduction to the functionalities these two web resources provide. They are superbly useful.
Chris will teach all willing learners all about these fine tools of our trade via the lovely ZOOM function.
Please bring with you your own instrument of tracking - of whatever ilk - that, ideally, will have an historic tracklog or two in it for you to bring into the xcmap world.
We will learn how to analyse our own logs, create our own waypoints and see our logs matched against those of others that have been uploaded to a number of very useful flying tasks all around the world.
This will be done in group sessions after Chris's talk.
