Club Night - 9 Oct 25

Dales Club Social at the Horse and Farrier (upstairs function room) in Otley from 8pm. Meet for a drink and a chat at 7.30pm or about 6.30pm if you want a meal.

For the first club night of the winter season Simon Hulme, club pilot and ex-military fast jet pilot, will be talking about how they approach flying from the other side of the fence. The realities of military low level flying, cockpit workload, displays, EC.  A little bit on risk management, work cycles vs lookout.  Martin Baxter will also be on hand to give the rotary wing perspective and answer any questions that you have on CANP and MATZ penetration.

If you're new to the club please come along, meet other club members and ask questions.  Hopefully we can put you in touch with a club coach or somebody who lives nearby to help you progress.

The library will be open for business. Why not read up about flying skills or weather forecasting? If you've had an item out for a while (you know who you are!) please make the effort to bring it back so that others can benefit.
