Club Nights - New Format for 2026
- Pre-drinks and parachat: from 7:00pm in the function room (not the bar area).
Giving new members a better opportunity to meet/socialise & avoids disturbing live music in the bar. - Presentations will start promptly at 7:30pm.
- Presentation length: no more than 90 minutes.
- Any off-topic interjections will be saved for after the presentation.
These changes should allow for an earlier finish for those with long journeys home, while also creating more time afterwards for socialising and informal conversation.
We hope this encourages back those members who felt evenings were running too long, and helps make the club even more welcoming to new members.
The Horse & Farrier once again have hot food available and continue to provide their function room free of charge, so please do thank them and be courteous to the staff.
Next Club Night - Thursday 8th January – Our very own Richard Meek, British Team Pilot and Manager and 2 times XC League Winner will be presenting from 7:30pm on Task Planning and Setting, Team Flying, and Using Forecasting Sites Effectively.
