Cumbria Soaring Club First Aid Course
Saturday 23rd January - a repeat of a First Aid day which proved really popular in when we ran it in November. Same presenters from First Aid Cumbria (Dave & Pete) but for one day only. This doesn't give you a ticket, but it does give you fantastic preparation for dealing with a accident and helping your friends...
This time it will held at Staveley (http://www.staveley-village-hall.org.uk/index_files/Pavilion.htm) from 9.30 to 5.30. Attendees last time said

It concentrates on trauma first aid...the sort of things you would come across on the hill, and there will be a discussion about how to report an incident and some practice at using the recovery position when people are in harnesses and helmets. Really geared up to our sport.
Parking & kitchen available, and very good pub lunch for only a fiver...
